New Delhi, Jan 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Thursday condemned the Assam serial blasts and said the government was committed to rooting out terrorism.
'The government would stay steadfast in its determination to root out terrorism and the measures taken recently in this direction would be taken to their logical conclusion,' Singh said in a statement.
He expressed his condolences to the near and dear ones of those killed in the serial blasts and sympathies to those injured. Five people were killed and at least 50 injured as three serial blasts that rocked Guwahati on New Year's day Thursday.
