Kotak Mahindra Bank posts Rs.1.5 bn profit in first quarter

Mumbai, July 28 (IANS) Leading finance service provider Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced a net profit of Rs.1.5 billion in the first quarter of this financial year, compared to Rs.1.46 billion in the same period the previous year, recording a growth of three percent.

Total income in the latest quarter ending June 30 stood at Rs.14.87 billion, as against Rs.13.92 billion in the corresponding quarter last year, a seven percent increase.
