Mumbai, July 28 (IANS) The Sensex closed in the green Monday.
The 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Sensex, opened at 14,267.03 points and touched a high of 14,421.61 before closing at 14,349.11 points. It went up by 74.17 points or 0.52 percent compared to its closing figure last Friday.
The S and P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange, which opened at 4,282.25 points, closed at 4,332.10. It went up by 20.25 points or 0.47 percent from its previous close.
