L&T nets $125.6 mn profit in first quarter

Mumbai, July 28 (IANS) Construction major Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) has announced a profit after tax of $125.61 million (Rs.5.02 billion) during the first quarter this fiscal, compared to $94.21 million (Rs.3.76 billion) for the corresponding period the previous year.

For the latest quarter ending June 30, L&T's total income increased to $1.77 billion (Rs.71.03 billion), as against $1.17 billion (Rs.47.15 billion) in the corresponding quarter last year.
