Union Bank net up 1.33 percent to Rs.2.28 bn

Mumbai, July 25 (IANS) Union Bank of India has announced a net profit of $57 million (Rs.2.28 billion) during the first quarter this fiscal, compared to $56.25 million (Rs.2.25 billion) in the corresponding period of the previous year, recording a growth of 1.33 percent.

For the latest quarter ending June 30, revenues increased to $688.75 million (Rs.27.55 billion) from $572.25million (Rs.22.89 billion) in the corresponding quarter last year.
