New Delhi, July 13 (IANS) India's middle distance runner Sinimole Paulose won the gold in the women's 1500 metres event at the 57th Cork City Sports athletics meet at Cork in Ireland.
According to information received here, Sinimole clocked 4:16.79 seconds to pocket the Euro 2,000 cash award Saturday and her compatriot Sushma Devi finished third with a timing of 4:19.15 secs. Russian Olesia Tyurina won the silver after clocking 4:18.06 secs.
Sinimole braved rain and windy condition to win the race.
