Mumbai, July 1 (IANS) The Indian equities market was trading with loss in afternoon trade amidst volatility. Banking, realty and oil and gas were under selling pressure.
At 12:30 p.m., the 30-share BSE Sensex was down by 97.14 points or 0.72 percent at 13,364.46. At the day's low, it touched 13,322.75.
At the same time, the broader-based S&P CNX Nifty was down by 30.95 points or 0.77 percent at 4,009.60.
The market breadth was negative. On BSE, 531 shares advanced compared to 1,877 that declined and 59 that remained unchanged.
